Publication Frequency and Archive Policy

The Journal of Planner and Development (JPD) is currently published on a triannual basis, with three issues per year. This publication schedule has been adopted as part of the journal’s ongoing editorial development, aiming to ensure regular publication, improve the timely dissemination of accepted research, reduce publication delays, and strengthen the journal’s compliance with transparent scholarly publishing practices.

The journal’s archive reflects its complete historical publication record. Earlier volumes were published according to the publication schedule approved at the time, which commonly included two issues per year, with possible special or supplementary issues where applicable. Beginning with Volume 28 (2023), JPD adopted a regular triannual publication schedule, and the archive therefore shows three issues for the years following this transition where the annual publication cycle has been completed.

Differences in the number of issues across previous years should therefore be understood as part of the journal’s documented publication history and approved editorial development, not as missing or incomplete archive content. All previously published volumes and issues remain part of the official scholarly archive of the journal and retain their bibliographic and academic status.

This clarification is provided to support transparency for authors, readers, reviewers, indexing services, archiving platforms, and other scholarly communication stakeholders. JPD is committed to maintaining a clear, consistent, and accessible publication record in accordance with good practices in academic publishing, digital preservation, open access dissemination, and journal indexing.
