    The Journal of Planner and Development (JPD) invites qualified academics, researchers, and professionals with expertise in urban and regional planning, urban design, sustainable development, environmental planning, spatial analysis, geoinformatics, planning technologies, urban systems, and socio-spatial development to join its reviewer community. Peer reviewers play an essential role in supporting the journal’s commitment to academic quality, research integrity, and transparent scholarly publishing by providing objective, constructive, timely, and confidential evaluations of submitted manuscripts. Applications are welcomed from specialists holding a PhD or advanced academic/research qualification in relevant fields, with preference given to applicants with recognized scholarly expertise and a minimum Scopus h-index of 5. Interested reviewers are invited to complete the Reviewer Registration Form, and applications will be reviewed by the editorial office according to expertise, publication record, relevance to the journal’s scope, and current reviewer needs.

  • Editorial and Publishing Development Plan 2026–2028

    The Editorial Board of the Journal of Planner and Development (JPD) announces the adoption of a structured editorial and publishing development plan for the period 2026–2028, based on documented Editorial Board decisions and aimed at strengthening academic quality, publication ethics, editorial transparency, international readability, digital publishing standards, and readiness for recognized scholarly indexing systems. The plan includes adopting an updated manuscript template, revising author guidelines, strengthening peer review and publication ethics policies, improving article metadata, updating the journal’s scientific scope, and adopting English as the main language for new manuscript submissions starting from 1 July 2026, while continuing to handle manuscripts already accepted or under editorial processing according to approved transitional procedures. These updates represent a planned institutional development process that preserves the journal’s academic continuity since its establishment in 1995 and supports its future engagement with reputable international indexing and scholarly publishing systems.
