Fees for publication

The Journal of Planner and Development (JPD) is a peer-reviewed, open access journal. To support editorial processing, online publication, journal platform maintenance, archiving, and open access dissemination, the journal applies a publication fee only for manuscripts that have been finally accepted for publication.

No Submission Fee

Authors are not required to pay any fee at the time of submission. There is no submission fee, and no fee is required for initial editorial screening or peer review.

Payment After Final Acceptance

Publication fees are requested only after the manuscript has received a final acceptance decision. Payment of publication fees does not influence the initial editorial screening, similarity checking, reviewer selection, reviewer recommendations, editorial decisions, or acceptance and rejection outcomes.

Rejected Manuscripts

Rejected manuscripts are not subject to publication fees. If a manuscript is rejected before or after peer review, no publication fee will be charged.
