Abstract

It is necessary to study the details of the urban landscape of the city and the aesthetic possibilities available in the city and the principles of artistic aesthetic composition for the purpose of devising indicators specific to the city and linking these indicators to the local environment and its contents of temporal and spatial variables , The research is based on the analysis of the aesthetic phenomenon and the extent of its application in the centers of Iraqi cities (the center of the city of Nasiriyah in particular), The Iraqi individual recognizes and deals with and know their impact in the planning of the city center.

The objective of the research is to analyze the aesthetic elements of the Iraqi city centers that will enhance the beauty of the Iraqi cities when planning them, The research is based on the analysis of aesthetic phenomenon and its application in the centers of Iraqi cities (the center of the city of Nasiriyah in particular), and focus on the aesthetic phenomena that the Iraqi individual recognizes and deals with and their impact on the planning of the city center.

The limits of spatial research will include the center of the city of Nasiriyah according to the approved master plan of the municipality. The boundaries of temporal research will include the city of Nasiriyah from its founding in 1870 to the present day, while the limits of knowledge research will include the study of elements of Asthetic in cities and study the structure of the city center and indicators related to planning, the research used descriptive method in proving the hypothesis of research.

The research found several conclusions. The main principles of aesthetic integration in cities are: unity in diversity, balance, human scale, gradation, containment, and rhythm, and visual pollution is at the level of the building as a whole in height, size, proportions or detail As in the materials used, their colors or their feel, or in the nature of the relations between those architectural details.
